Происхождение
The Finez has been Batavus's prestige city bike for over a decade, engineered in Heerenveen and developed in partnership with TU Delft's Industrial Design faculty to deliver an unusually stable, forgiving ride. The project tested dozens of frame geometries to optimise weight distribution — resulting in a bike that tracks confidently while heavily loaded. In 2020 the Dutch RAI Association named it Bicycle of the Year, validating its premium positioning in the Dutch city-bike market.

- At ~18-20 kg, the Finez is heavy for a non-cargo city bike, making it cumbersome to carry or lift
- Premium price point (Exclusive models above €1,000) puts it out of reach for budget commuters
- The Finez PT electric range adds significant cost and weight beyond the already-heavy base model
