Origin
"Snabb" is Swedish for "fast", chosen because NS Bikes wanted a single word that transcended language barriers in the pan-European market. The Snabb launched circa 2015 as NS's first serious foray into the enduro segment, built on lessons from the Fuzz downhill platform. The 4-bar Horst Link was chosen for its predictable, brake-jack-free behaviour — critical on sustained enduro stages.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Horst Link delivers confident, progressive suspension feel with no brake jack on steep descents
- Slack 64° head angle and boost spacing give a planted, stable ride
- Competitive enduro spec at a lower price than European rivals
−Weaknesses
- At 15.1 kg the Snabb 160 is heavy by modern enduro standards
- Aluminium frame can feel harsh over sustained chunk compared to carbon rivals
- RockShox 35 fork (base build) is outclassed by the frame's descending capability
