Origin

The Clash was born as Commencal's dedicated park and enduro bike on 27.5" wheels — smaller, snappier, and more responsive than the Supreme DH but purpose-built for sustained descending. The V2 added the flip-chip adjustable travel to serve both bike park laps and natural enduro stages from a single frame.

The verdict

+Strengths
  • Adjustable travel via flip chip makes it genuinely versatile between park and trail riding
  • 27.5" wheels deliver snappy, playful handling prized in bike parks
  • Direct-to-consumer pricing puts a capable enduro platform well within reach
Weaknesses
  • 27.5" wheels roll slower and less efficiently than 29" on open, fast terrain
  • Single-pivot design limits small-bump sensitivity compared to multi-link alternatives
  • Less suited to XC or efficient trail riding than Commencal's TR platform
