Origin
The Spirit Women's is the Author Traction's sister model built for women's fit — a 29er hardtail with a women's-specific frame geometry that adjusts reach, standover height, and tube angles for typical female proportions. Component specification mirrors the same air fork, hydraulic brakes, and Shimano Alivio as the male-geometry equivalent.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Air fork RST Aerial matches quality on men's equivalent build
- Women's geometry meaningfully improves fit for shorter riders
- VITTORIA Barzo tyres perform well in mixed conditions
−Weaknesses
- 14.2 kg is similar to male equivalent — frame geometry doesn't save weight
- Shimano Alivio 18-speed is functional but mid-tier
- TEKTRO HD-M280 is adequate but not the most powerful hydraulic option
