Origin
The Magnum has been Author's XC race flagship for over a decade — an uncompromising hardtail built around carbon fibre and the best components the brand specifies. The 2023-24 generation combines a Toray carbon monocoque with FOX Step-Cast lightweight forks, Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain, and custom AUTHOR Flyer Carbon wheels, arriving at sub-10 kg. For a Czech brand, this positions the Magnum alongside entry XC racers from Trek (X-Caliber) and Giant (XTC).
