Происхождение
The Juliet has been Merida's dedicated women's urban and light-trail platform since around 2008. Rather than simply shrinking a men's frame, Merida engineered the Juliet with adjusted geometry (lower standover, shorter reach, narrower handlebars) and women-specific saddles and grips. Over nearly two decades the line has expanded in size options and component quality, remaining one of the few named women's urban bikes in a major manufacturer's range.

- Mechanical disc brakes on entry builds require more frequent cable adjustment than hydraulic alternatives
- 26" wheel availability is declining — 27.5" current builds have better tyre and parts availability
- 3×8 drivetrain on base models is heavier and more complex than modern 1×10 or 1×11 setups
