Turbo Levo tika laists klajā 2015. gadā kā viens no pirmajiem masveida pilnas jaudas eMTB no liela zīmola un faktiski definēja sekojošo kategoriju. Specialized, kura galvenā mītne atrodas Morgan Hill, Kalifornijā, kopā izstrādāja oriģinālo Brose bāzes piedziņas bloku tieši Levo, prioritizējot dabisku pedāļu sajūtu pār neapstrādātu jaudu laikā, kad lielākā daļa konkurentu pārveidoja rūpnieciskos motorus. Levo ir izgājis cauri četrām paaudzēm (2015. gada 1. paaudze, 2019. gada 2. paaudze, 2022. gada 3. paaudze, 2025. gada 4. paaudze), katra iterācija attīrot siluetu un ievilkt motoru un akumulatoru dziļāk oglekļa šasijā. 2025. gada 4. paaudze ieviesa pašu Specialized 3.1 motoru (101 Nm, 666 W), 840 Wh galveno akumulatoru ar ātru 5 A uzlādi un S-Works regulējumu, kas pārsniedz 100 Nm barjeru pie 111 Nm un 720 W. Ražošana ir globāla, ar rāmjiem, kas ražoti Āzijā, un galīgā montāža un ES izplatīšana no Cham, Šveicē.

All three Baltic states follow EU Regulation 168/2013. Pedelec ≤250W continuous with assist up to 25 km/h = bicycle. Above limits = moped/L1e category. Peak power (666W on Levo) is irrelevant for EU classification — only continuous rating matters.
