Kilmė

The Jealous has been Radon's hardtail statement since 2013, evolving from a competent aluminum XC bike into one of the best-value carbon hardtails in Europe. By 2024 the carbon frame hit 920 g — lighter than many dedicated race frames — while the bike kept its dual personality: just as happy on a local trail as on a race course. The rotating headset cups are a clever addition, letting riders dial the head angle without swapping headset parts.

Verdiktas

+Stiprybės
  • Sub-920 g carbon frame at a price point well below comparable competitors
  • Rotating headset geometry adjustment is genuinely useful for versatile use
  • Complete 9.0 carbon build under 9.2 kg is exceptional value
Trūkumai
  • 100 mm XC fork limits aggressive trail descending compared to 120–130 mm trail-hardtail rivals
  • Direct-only sales means no pre-purchase test ride at a local shop
  • Max rider weight cap of 115 kg is lower than some competing frames
