Nishiki has offered a hybrid/city bike since the Dick's Sporting Goods relaunch in 2010. The current generation, marketed as the Pagosa Sport, refines the formula with a tapered head tube, internal cable routing, and Shimano Altus drivetrain — upgrades that bring city-commuter expectations in line with mainstream hybrid bikes at comparable price points. The Pagosa Sport targets urban commuters who need pavement and occasional light gravel capability without cross-country ambitions.

Verdiktas
+Stiprybės
- Shimano Altus 3x8 is a proven, reliable drivetrain with easy-to-find spare parts
- Disc brakes with 160mm rotors outperform rim brakes in wet urban conditions
- Rack mounts and internal routing make it genuinely commuter-ready out of the box
−Trūkumai
- At ~33 lbs, the bike is heavy relative to comparable hybrid bikes — panniers will further slow acceleration
- Coil spring fork cannot be locked out, adding unwanted bob when sprinting or climbing in the saddle
- Innova City tires are functional but undistinguished — upgrading to Schwalbe or Continental would meaningfully improve rolling resistance
