The Kugoo S1 arrived around 2019 as one of the brand's lightest and most affordable offerings — an 11 kg foldable scooter aimed squarely at last-mile urban commuters who needed something pocketable for transit integration. At under €250 it traded range and pneumatic tires for simplicity and low maintenance. The S1 was later updated into the S1 Pro and S1 Plus variants with larger batteries; the original S1 remained the budget entry point.
