Kilmė

The Grade launched in 2015 as GT's first dedicated gravel bike, applying the Triple Triangle concept to drop-bar adventure riding. The 3rd-generation (2023) carbon Grade is a significant rethink: slacker head angle, wider tire clearance, and Gravel Travel -- engineered carbon flex in the rear triangle that smooths rough surfaces without a suspension mechanism.

Verdiktas

+Stiprybės
  • Gravel Travel (30mm rear flex) genuinely smooths rough surfaces without suspension complexity or weight penalty
  • BikeRadar Gravel Bike of the Year 2024: praised for great handling, strong value, and impressive component spec
  • Slack 70-degree head angle and 50mm tire clearance make it genuinely capable on rough gravel and light trails
Trūkumai
  • WTB Vulpine tires lack grip in wet and muddy conditions -- a notable limitation in northern European winters
  • Front cable/hose routing can interfere with handlebar bag installation
  • Not the lightest option in the carbon gravel category compared to Canyon and Orbea competitors
