BH entered the gravel race in 2019 with the GravelX, drawing on the same HCIM carbon technology that made their road and MTB frames competitive. The signature AirBow fork — its curved blades designed to maximise the space between fork crown and tire — became the bike's visual trademark and a functional solution to high-clearance gravel design. The platform subsequently split into specialist sub-variants: AT for all-terrain comfort (with the SRS 3–5 mm flex system), Racing for pure competition, and R for a lighter, simpler race weapon.

Verdiktas

+Stiprybės
  • 940 g racing frame is exceptionally light for a gravel platform with disc brakes
  • AirBow fork and SRS flex system offer controlled front and rear compliance for rough terrain
  • Integrated toolbox and hydration are practical for self-supported racing
Trūkumai
  • SRS 3–5 mm flex is comfort vibration absorption, not genuine suspension — rough descents still demand attention
  • Top-spec builds command premium pricing relative to direct gravel competitors
  • Integrated cockpit and internal routing can complicate cable and brake hose service
