KickScooter MAX G30
Origin
Segway-Ninebot was formed in 2015 when Chinese personal-transport start-up Ninebot acquired the original American self-balancing pioneer Segway Inc. Backed by Xiaomi, the merged company became the dominant global maker of shared and consumer e-scooters. The KickScooter MAX G30 arrived in 2019 as Ninebot's answer to a simple problem: most affordable scooters ran out of battery long before a real commute was done. By fitting an unusually large 551Wh battery, 10-inch tubeless tyres and a sealed, fleet-grade frame, the MAX became the long-range value benchmark of its era and the workhorse behind many European rental fleets. It has since spawned a family of EU-specific trims (G30LP, G30LE, G30LD, G30D II) and a successor MAX G2, but the original G30 remains one of the most common scooters on Baltic streets and second-hand marketplaces.

2020-2021 EU trims — G30LP / LE / LD (376Wh era)
- Smaller battery, lighter frame, cheaper. LD = German 20 km/h road-legal; LE = 25 km/h non-DE-legal.
2022 refresh — G30D II
- Return to the big 551Wh battery in a refreshed body; effectively the modern long-range G30 before the MAX G2 successor.
