Origin
The Rambler is Romet's flagship hardtail mountain-bike line and one of the brand's best-known models across Poland and the Baltics. Built around a hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame, a Suntour suspension fork and Shimano gearing, it spans a huge ladder of trims — from budget 3x7 V-brake bikes for first-time riders up to hydraulic-disc, Shimano Deore 1x11 trail builds. The recipe is consistent: durable aluminium, proven Shimano drivetrains and strong value, all assembled in Poland.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Excellent value — proven aluminium hardtail at an accessible price
- Huge range of trims covers beginners through capable trail riders
- Made in Poland with reliable, serviceable Shimano components
−Weaknesses
- Entry trims use basic Suntour forks and V-brakes that limit hard off-road use
- Heavy by modern standards (~15-16 kg on budget builds)
- Spec varies widely between trims, so the name alone tells you little
