Origin
The XR is Lapierre's full-suspension cross-country bike, and the latest generation pushed it firmly toward modern down-country thinking. A new vertical shock position lowers the unit in the frame, dropping the centre of gravity so the bike stays calm as speeds rise, while anti-squat near 100% at sag keeps it efficient under power. Two carbon layups — UD Racing (T800 + high-modulus) and UD Performance — and a ~1730 g frameset make it a genuine weight-weenie XC platform, with a flip-chip to dial geometry between pure race and down-country.
