OX Super
Origin
The OX line is Inokim's heritage commuter, designed under the studio of Israeli industrial designer Nimrod Sapir, the founder behind every Inokim since the late 2000s. The original brief was a robust, repairable scooter for daily city use rather than a race machine. The Super trim, sold from around 2020 and refreshed yearly, upgrades the OX with a 60 V LG-cell pack, an 800 W (1300 W peak) rear hub motor, and Inokim's signature adjustable rubber-torsion swing arms front and rear. It is widely distributed across the EU and is what most European Inokim buyers choose when they want a comfortable long-range workhorse without stepping up to the heavyweight OXO dual-motor class.

The verdict
- Supremely soft, comfortable ride — dual rubber-torsion adjustable suspension on 10" pneumatics is among the best in class
- Premium vertically integrated CNC construction with zero welds (no weak points) — aerospace-grade aluminum
- Strong real-world range (~50-90 km) for a single-motor commuter at this price
- Ergonomic thumb throttle reduces hand fatigue on long rides
- Confidence-inspiring braking — stops in ~3.4 m from 15 mph despite mechanical brakes
- Slow acceleration (~5.3 s to 15 mph) — well behind dual-motor rivals at the price
- Modest top speed (~45 km/h) ranks near the bottom of its price bracket
- Hard plastic deck lacks grip, problematic on rough/wet terrain (addressed on later 2026 trim)
- Limited water protection — IPX4 at best, some reviews report no official IP rating
- Heavy (~27.7 kg) and bulky to carry; replacement parts can be expensive and hard to source
