Light 2
Origin
Inokim traces back to 2009, when Israeli industrial designer Nimrod Riccardo Sapir began building a folding electric scooter as a garage project under the brand MyWay. Sapir, a Holon Institute of Technology industrial-design graduate, filed a patent for a folding-wheel/stem mechanism that became the basis of the MyWay Quick1 in 2011 - one of the first genuinely light, quick-folding electric scooters. In 2014 Sapir partnered with entrepreneur Kfir Ben-Shooshan, rebranded to Inokim, and pushed the company toward the premium, longevity-first niche it still occupies. The Light line is Inokim's ultra-portable commuter platform, and the Light 2 is its most refined generation: a scooter engineered less for outright speed than for build quality, portability and years of daily service.
