01
Origin
The Hera is De Rosa's titanium gravel machine — named after the Greek goddess of marriage and family, reflecting the bike's role as a versatile companion for all terrain. Introduced in 2022, it draws on De Rosa's long titanium tradition (predating the Anima road platform) and scales it for adventure riding, offering made-to-measure sizing and generous 40+ mm tyre clearance.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Grade 9 titanium delivers a naturally compliant and vibration-damping ride character ideal for long gravel days
- Made-to-measure option and wide tyre clearance (40-45 mm) cover bikepacking to fast gravel use cases
- 2.04 kg frame+fork weight is competitive with premium carbon gravel offerings
−Weaknesses
- Starting at €9,800 it is the most expensive De Rosa outside the 70 flagship — titanium commands a significant premium
- Drivetrain and brakes are not included in the base frameset; full build cost rises substantially
- Titanium finish (typically brushed raw) limits colour/aesthetic customisation compared to painted carbon options
