Origin
Launched in August 2020, the Cento10 SL is Wilier's more affordable take on its flagship Cento10 Pro aero road bike, replacing the ageing Cento1 Air. It uses the same NACA Low-Speed truncated-Kammtail aero molds as the Pro but with a more modest carbon layup, bringing Wilier's race DNA to a lower price point. Despite weighing about 200 g more in the frame, Wilier claims it is actually torsionally stiffer than the Pro.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Shares the flagship Cento10 Pro's aero frame shape and molds at a much lower price
- Surprisingly smooth, compliant ride for a stiff aero bike — likened to steel/titanium comfort
- Stiff and direct under power with impressive acceleration and speed retention
- Clean, fully-internal cable routing with a serviceable cockpit (Stemma SL)
- Wide groupset choice (Shimano, SRAM AXS, Campagnolo) across 18 builds
−Weaknesses
- Frame ~200 g heavier than the Cento10 Pro — not the lightest aero frame in class
- Aggressive low/long race geometry is demanding and unforgiving of less-flexible riders
- Some reviewers find the ride character 'uninspiring' if you want a pure racing whippet rather than an all-rounder
- Conventional Ritchey bar/stem instead of the Pro's one-piece Alabarda cockpit
- Modest stock wheels/finishing kit on lower builds; best value needs upgrades that add cost
