Phaeton
Origin
The Turbowheel Phaeton was eWheels' top-tier flagship — a US-distributor-rebadged variant of the Ultron T128, repositioned for the North American performance market. With dual 1600W motors, a 2520 Wh Samsung pack, and hydraulic dual suspension, the Phaeton sat in the same conversation as the Dualtron Thunder and Wolf King at a usually friendlier price. Its claim to fame was a steering damper from factory — a feature borrowed from sport motorcycles to kill speed-induced handlebar wobble, a problem that becomes life-threatening on lighter scooters above 80 km/h. By 2023 the Phaeton had been quietly phased out as the Chinese OEMs (Kaabo, Yume, NAMI) saturated the segment with more refined alternatives. It's still well-regarded second-hand and survives in the enthusiast forums as a 'sleeper' option.

The verdict
- Exceptional power and acceleration — dual 1600W motors (~6480W peak) put it in flagship company with the Dualtron Thunder
- Massive 2520 Wh Samsung pack delivering up to ~128 km real-world range, recharged in only ~3 hours via 84V/5A charger
- Factory-fitted adjustable steering damper kills high-speed handlebar wobble — rare safety feature borrowed from sport motorcycles
- Dual spring suspension front + rear plus hydraulic disc brakes give confident handling and stopping at speed
- Premium, robust build quality; strong second-hand reputation as a 'sleeper' flagship at a friendlier price than rivals
- No official IP water-resistance rating — repeatedly cited weakness, risky in wet Baltic climate
- Very heavy at ~59 kg (132 lbs) — among the heaviest folding scooters ever sold; hard to carry or transport
- Out of production since ~2023 with no EU service network — parts, BMS/controller support hard to source
- Was a niche US eWheels-channel SKU; EU buyers relied on grey import or direct Ultron channels
- Premium pricing when new (~$3,999); high-speed operation demands serious safety gear and rider experience
