Origin
Launched in 2017, the Vektron answered a gap that folding-bike purists had long argued over: could a folder get heavy enough motor assist to be genuinely useful on hilly cities without becoming too heavy to haul on public transit? Tern's answer was a Bosch Performance Drive Unit in a proven 20-inch folding chassis, delivering a bike that folds in 10 seconds, fits under most office desks, and covers 100 km on a charge.
