Origin
Radon introduced the Render in 2019 as their answer to the rapidly growing e-MTB segment — a full-suspension platform around Bosch's Performance Line CX motor. Rather than a makeshift electric conversion, the Render was designed from scratch around the Bosch system: the 750 Wh battery integrates cleanly into the down tube, the geometry is tuned for the additional weight of the motor system, and the 160/140 mm travel is calibrated for the more aggressive terrain e-MTBs tend to be ridden on. The 85 Nm CX motor gives it genuine alpine capability.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm) is the benchmark mid-drive e-MTB motor — powerful and well-supported
- 750 Wh battery supports full-day alpine use on a single charge
- Carbon main frame keeps weight reasonable for a fully-specced e-MTB
−Weaknesses
- At ~24.5 kg even the top build is heavy — e-MTB weight penalty is real for technical climbing
- Bosch CX system is bulkier than newer ultra-compact motors (e.g. TQ, Fazua)
- Direct-only purchase makes pre-ride evaluation of the heavy bike difficult
