Origin
The Path is Polygon's city commuter answer — an urban fitness bike that sits between a hybrid and a lightweight commuter. The series trades suspension for a lighter, more efficient rigid setup, pairing hydraulic disc brakes with a reliable Shimano drivetrain. The name is intentionally simple: it's about the daily path you take through the city.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Hydraulic disc brakes at a sub-00 price point are genuinely rare and practical in wet urban conditions
- Shimano CUES 1×9 simplifies shifting without sacrificing useful gear range for city riding
- 700×40c tires balance rolling efficiency with enough volume for rough urban surfaces
−Weaknesses
- Alloy rigid fork transmits more road buzz than suspension or carbon alternatives
- Prowheel crankset is a budget component that experienced riders often replace early
- Platform pedals and saddle are functional but uninspiring — common upgrade targets
