Speedway 5
Origin
The Speedway 5 is Minimotors' performance-commuter, sitting between the lightweight Speedway Mini and the heavy Dualtron lineup that the same company makes. Released around 2022, the dual-motor version pairs two 800W BLDC hub motors with a 60V 23.4Ah (1404Wh) battery, 10-inch tubeless pneumatic tires, and full dual suspension. Mechanical disc brakes front and rear are backed by regenerative electric braking. At roughly 30-32 kg it is at the upper edge of 'still occasionally carryable,' and with an unlocked top speed in the 55-64 km/h range it lands squarely in performance territory. Sold across the EU through Minimotors/Dualtron distributors, it became a common upgrade for riders graduating from Xiaomi and Ninebot-class scooters.
