Origin

If the Wolf Warrior was Kaabo's breakout, the Wolf King GT is its flagship — the model that took the brand from 'fast enough' to 'genuinely faster than a moped.' Built on a 72V architecture with dual 2000W motors fed by 50A sine wave controllers and a 35Ah LG 21700 pack, the GT comfortably exceeds 100 km/h in unrestricted mode and posts a verified 180 km range under conservative riding. It introduced the inverted dual-fork front end that's since become the visual signature of high-end Kaabo scooters. The GT line evolved into the GTR and GTR Max (4000W motors, 200 km range, 105 km/h) but the original GT remains the value sweet-spot: roughly half the price of a comparable Dualtron Thunder, with similar real-world performance. In the EU it's almost always sold as 'private property use only,' which the community treats as a legal fig leaf.

The verdict

+Strengths
  • Genuine triple-digit top speed (100+ km/h) and brutal dual-2000W acceleration that matches scooters costing far more
  • Excellent high-speed stability — stiff frame geometry plus low-mounted battery mass suppress speed wobble where rivals get nervous
  • Motorcycle-grade dual suspension (inverted hydraulic front fork + rear dual springs) soaks up rough terrain
  • Strong hydraulic disc brakes with EABS and self-healing tubeless tires for safety and low maintenance
  • Feature-rich cockpit: anti-glare TFT, 6 ride modes, turn signals, deck LEDs, USB port and 105 dB horn
Weaknesses
  • Awful folding — the frame effectively lengthens when collapsed, making it one of the worst-folding scooters reviewers tested
  • Extremely heavy at ~52 kg, so it is impractical to carry, lift into a car, or store in a flat
  • Rated 180 km range is optimistic lab figure; real-world speed riding cuts it to roughly 90-110 km
  • Effectively illegal on public roads in the EU/Baltics — sold as 'private property use only' with no plate/insurance path
  • Long ~12 h charge on the standard charger (5 h only with the optional fast charger), and high purchase price
