Lux CF
Origin
The Canyon Lux launched in 2014 as the German direct-to-consumer brand's lightweight XC race full-suspension platform, evolving alongside its World Cup cross-country campaigns. As XC tracks grew rougher, Canyon split the line: the Lux World Cup stayed a pure podium-chasing race weapon, while the Lux Trail (introduced as a separate model) added a 120 mm fork, 110 mm rear, dropper post and burlier tyres to create a 'down-country' bike that climbs like a racer but descends with composure. Sold online-only, it undercuts shop-brand rivals on spec-per-euro.
