Origin

The Bad Boy has been Cannondale's stealthy urban statement since the early 2000s — all-black, aggressive, and unmistakable thanks to its single-sided Lefty fork. The modern Bad Boy 1 leans fully into low-maintenance city riding: a Gates Carbon belt drive that never needs lube, a Shimano Alfine internal hub, fat 650b tires for pothole comfort, and integrated LED light strips in the fork and seatpost. It's a commuter that looks like a concept bike.
