The verdict

+Strengths
  • Proven carbon CX platform with raised-BB geometry for UCI cross racing
  • Ultegra Di2 delivers reliable electronic shifting in wet and muddy conditions
  • Multiple drivetrain builds (1x GRX for simplicity, 2x for range) within one frame
Weaknesses
  • Velomann V30R stock wheels are budget-level for a EUR 4,900 race bike
  • Disc-only; no rim-brake option for legacy club equipment
  • Only 3 sizes in the Di2 build may limit fit precision
