E-Impulso Gravel
e-gravel
01
Origin
The E-Impulso Gravel applies electric assistance to Bianchi's Impulso aluminum endurance frame, pairing it with the Ebikemotion X35 Plus rear hub motor. The system is notable for its light weight (~3.5 kg combined motor/battery) and minimalist rear-hub integration -- the bike looks almost indistinguishable from the non-electric Impulso. The full-carbon fork and GRX drivetrain complete a gravel-capable e-bike package positioned between lightweight e-road bikes and heavier mid-drive e-gravel alternatives.

The verdict
+Strengths
- ~3.5 kg motor+battery makes it one of the lightest e-gravel bikes available
- Rear-hub integration is nearly invisible -- looks and handles close to a conventional gravel bike
- Full carbon fork preserves front-end compliance for mixed-surface riding
−Weaknesses
- 250 Wh battery is small -- range is limited on long, hilly gravel routes vs mid-drive competitors with 500+ Wh
- Ebikemotion/Mahle ecosystem is less common than Bosch at service points in the Baltic region
- QR rear axle (135 mm OLD) is dated technology compared to modern thru-axle gravel bikes
