Origin

Dama Bianca ("White Lady" in Italian) is Bianchi's women's road line, introduced in 2016. Rather than the usual "pink it and shrink it" approach, Bianchi built it as a full range of classically styled black-and-white road bikes accented with the brand's iconic Celeste, applying women-specific touches — narrower bars, shorter stems and women's saddles — on top of its proven endurance frame platforms. The line was not a single bike but a women's badge applied across Bianchi's catalogue, from the alloy Via Nirone 7 and Impulso up to the carbon Intenso and the Countervail-equipped Infinito CV. Bianchi has since folded women-specific design back into its mainstream ranges rather than maintaining Dama Bianca as a standalone line.

The verdict

+Strengths
  • Exceptional ride comfort and vibration damping — carbon Countervail frame plus compliant carbon seatpost soak up road buzz on long rides.
  • Confidence-inspiring handling: front end tracks corners precisely, strong on descents.
  • Genuine women-specific fit done right (narrower bars, shorter stems, women's saddle, true small sizes) instead of cosmetic 'pink and shrink'.
  • Broad price ladder — same line runs from affordable alloy Claris/Sora builds up to Ultegra Di2 carbon.
  • Classic Bianchi Celeste styling and brand heritage.
Weaknesses
  • Carbon Infinito CV build is on the heavy side and pricey for its weight/spec class.
  • Stock Fulcrum Racing 5 wheelset is robust but holds back the frame and groupset — an obvious upgrade target.
  • Endurance geometry lacks the snap/liveliness crit racers or aggressive riders want.
  • Mostly rim brakes across the range (disc only on the Impulso Disc variant) — dated for buyers wanting modern discs.
  • Discontinued as a distinct line, so newer model-year support and parts availability for the women-badged builds are limited.
