Origin
The Diamante is Basso's pure race bike and the round-tubed counterpart to the aero Diamante SV. Hand-laminated in Italy from Toray T1000/T800 carbon, it keeps the brand's hallmark fully alloy-free construction — even sections that usually demand metal inserts are made of carbon. Its rounder tube profiles are tuned for ride quality and stiffness rather than wind-tunnel numbers, and the 8th-generation update shed roughly 20% of frame weight while modernising the platform for discs and 28c tires.
